5 Unpopular Blue Bloods Hot Takes Fans Can’t Hide Any Longer
These five hot takes opened Hell’s gates in the Blue Bloods subreddit, but they also found their supporters; we ourselves are not so sure about the last one, though. 5. Jackie’s Not

5. Jackie’s Not Worth It
While most fans fell for Jackie Curatola years ago and still can’t get over it, others want to make one thing straight: Jackie is severely overhyped. Period. She doesn’t need to return to Blue Bloods full-time, her arc is done and dusted, just leave her be. Jackie’s not half as perfect as many fans portray her to be, and she never was.
4. Baez’s Not a Detective
Coming in from another angle, Maria Baez is the show’s fans’ current sweetheart, but she’s really not cut out for detective work. She never takes the lead, doesn’t really solve cases, and for the most part, she mostly follows Danny’s lead. Baez rarely even defends her opinion on the case, too: she whines for Danny to listen.
3. Danny’s an A-hole
Moving to the primary characters, some fans claim that Danny Reagan’s too much of an a-hole for how much love he gets from the audience. Admittedly, he’s nothing short of a loudmouth self-righteous bully who has no business doing the police work. Danny’s an entitled man who abuses the legal powers he has for his own vision.
2. Nicki Deserves Better
Way too many Blue Bloods fans hate Nicki, and most of the flack she gets is totally not deserved. She’s called borderline anti-cop, anti-Reagan traitor of her family, but that’s not true. The fact that Nicki is more moderate than other Reagans doesn’t make her bad; if anything, she’s just way more considerate than her beloved family.
1. Blue Bloods Needs a Replacement
Some fans claim Blue Bloods must end; others think it should keep going. However, there’s a third voice on the block, and it calls for a change. Blue Bloods as we know it should have a decent finale, and then with a new show, the focus should shift toward Sean who joins the PD and essentially gets his own spin-off. This would allow for a fresh angle, and the characters from the original Blue Bloods can be recurring.
