Teen Wolf

1 Teen Wolf Theory Retroactively Makes The Show Incredibly Confusing Thanks To This Disappearance

A surprising theory connects two characters who supposedly have little to do with each other in Teen Wolf. Teen Wolf’s main character is Scott McCall, but the MTV hit show boasts a large ensemble cast of characters that come and go. Two such supporting characters are Isaac Lahey (Daniel Sharman) and Deputy Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley). While the former is a werewolf and the latter a Hellhound, the two are members of Scott McCall’s supernaturally diverse pack.

Although interactions between the two are few and far between in Teen Wolf’s six seasons, fans have theorized that there may be a relationship between Isaac and Jordan that was never explored in the show. In fact, it’s been speculated that Deputy Parrish may actually be Isaac’s long-dead older brother: Camden Lahey.

Who Is Camden Lahey?

Camden never appeared in the show. However, in season 2, Isaac revealed that he had an older brother who enlisted in the army after graduating from Beacon Hills High School. Camden was eventually killed in combat, although the year of his death is unknown. It’s also revealed by Matt Daehler that when he and Isaac were 10 years old, Camden – a high school senior and member of the 2006 Beacon Hills High swim team – threw Matt into the pool, causing him to almost drown.

Camden was eventually killed in combat, although the year of his death is unknown.

Shortly after Deputy Parrish was introduced, many aspects of his backstory started aligning with Camden. Primarily, like Camden, Deputy Parrish also enlisted in the army shortly after graduation as an Explosive Ordinance Disposal technician. It was also revealed that Parrish was killed while disarming a bomb.

Despite the similarity, it’s fairly easy to discredit the theory. Although Camden and Parrish would be roughly the same age, the bomb Parrish was disarming exploded at the same time the Beacon Hills Nemeton was reawakened due to the surrogate sacrifice ritual performed by Scott, Allison Argent, and Stiles Stilinski. At that point, the Hellhound was reborn by possessing Parrish’s body, reviving him.

Isaac Never Returns To The Show

There’s another reason why the theory ultimately falls flat: Isaac doesn’t recognize Parrish, nor does he remain in Beacon Hills after the events of season 3A. It stands to reason that if Parrish was Isaac’s long-lost brother, Isaac would at least recognize him, and that people in town would as well. As it stands, in the short time Isaac and Parrish shared the screen, they hardly had anything to do with each other. It’s an interesting theory nonetheless, and one that expands upon the relationships that Teen Wolf never explored.
