Period dramas are becoming more popular every day, especially those that focus more on drama, scandal, and romantic shenanigans. It’s always exciting to follow something like that, isn’t it?
One of the best historical slash romantic shows of the past few years is definitely Bridgerton. The series premiered on Netflix in 2020 and ended up being a huge success. Well, there’s no surprise in that: the story about competitive families of the Regency era and their never-ending drama is something that will keep you glued to your screen.
The first season of the series was focused on the love story of the most innocent young girl of all – Daphne Bridgerton – and her future husband Duke of Hastings. The second season followed the infamous love triangle between Anthony Bridgerton and Sharma sisters.
So it was no secret that the series’ third season will be exploring the love story of Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton. As we already know, the two of them were friends, but Pen always dreamed of becoming his chosen one.
Season 2 left things uncertain for the couple, but the sneak peeks that we got into season 3, it seemed that there’s going to be some hot drama going on. The latest promo that was released on the series’ Instagram page hints that someone else is going to take some alone time with Penelope this season…

While most fans are happy to see their beloved character having a great time with a new suitor, some of them are jealous that Pen and Lord Debling may have become too close and are actually overprotective of season 3’s main couple.
Still, everyone is anxiously waiting to see Colin’s reaction to all this new drama in his life, eagerly anticipating at least one jealous outburst. Well, Colin, that’s what happens when you make a woman wait for too long.
The first part of Bridgerton season 3 will premiere on Netflix in May.
