Netflix’s Bridgerton has been a sensation among fans thanks to the captivating love stories of the Bridgerton siblings. It’s been almost a year since viewers have enjoyed the passionate relationship between Kate Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton, and fans are ready for more, especially since Season 3 will focus on the relationship between everyone’s favorite Penelope Featherington and Colin Bridgerton.
Fans have grown to love Penelope over the first two seasons of the show and would love to see her childhood crush develop into a real passion. But before that happens, both Miss Featherington and her future partner will have to undergo some major development.

That’s why Season 3 will begin with Penelope being cold and even hostile to Colin, who has reportedly just returned from one of his travels. Instead of chasing a crush who clearly doesn’t appreciate her, Penelope will decide to focus on finding a husband who won’t interfere with her independence and side business.
However, such a change will not sit well with Colin, who will undergo a major development in the upcoming season and finally understand how dear Penelope is to him. In an attempt to regain their friendship, Colin will help Penelope build confidence and begin the search for the perfect husband, playing out the good old “friends to enemies to lovers” trope.
Although this is a popular storytelling trope, audiences don’t get tired of it, and the Penelope/Colin story is sure to be one of the most successful on-screen romances considering the popularity of the pairing. Fans can’t wait to see Penelope blossom into the woman she’s too insecure to be, and Colin redeem himself and become the wonderful character he is in the books.
