Daniel O’Donnell says he would love to appear on Coronation Street
Daniel O’Donnell has revealed his dream of soap glory!
The crooner has revealed that he would love to appear on Coronation Street.
And, if we’re being honest, we would love to see it!
The writers don’t even need to worry about the storyline as Daniel has it all planned.
He originally thought that he could have an affair with former Weatherfield resident, Mavis Wilton.
Appearing on This Morning, he told Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: “Now Mary is all that’s left for me. I thought we could go in the caravan.”
However, he would do pretty much anything on the show!
“I would even just sweep outside The Rovers with a brush, just sweeping. I love it.”
Daniel is an avid fan of the soap, admitting that he “always” watches Corrie!
We would absolutely love to see Daniel in the soap.
And, of course, he has some acting experience. Last year, the Donegal man starred in a zombie-fighter hero in the Halloween film, Night of the Daniels.
Playing himself, the film follows Daniel, as a wax museum dedicated to him is opened, but was built on the site of an ancient Celtic burial ground. Causing plenty of para-normal mishaps.
The film was made by Shaun Doogan and Ciaran McCann, the same team behind his viral ‘Down At The Lah De Dah’ video.
The film also stars his wife Majella. Along with plenty of others from his local community in the cast and crew.
He also provided the music for the soundtrack, releasing a cover of Elvis Presley’s Burning Love, for Night of the Daniels.
