Kelli Giddish’s Husband Sent Her a Love Note in the Most Magical Way

The SVU alum’s husband scored major brownie points!

In a March 6 Instagram post, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum Kelli Giddish gave fans a rare glimpse into her family life, and it was so sweet.

In the post, we see Giddish playing guitar in her beautiful home while her son, Oldie, sits on the skateboard she’s laying her feet on. And thanks to a high-tech device called a Vestaboard mounted on her wall, she receives love notes from her husband, Beau Richards, whenever the moment strikes.

In the video, Giddish can be seen happily strumming away when a message flashes on the screen: I think you are magic.

Giddish, of course, feels the same way about Richards. “I think you are too!” she called upstairs to her husband, flashing a smile.

See the sweet moment for yourself in the post, below.

Little Oldie is approaching his second birthday in June — and he’s already enamored with his mom’s creative side. It’s really too cute.

Giddish also has two sons, Ludo, 8, and Charlie, 5, from a previous marriage. Last summer, she shared a lovely sunset photograph of herself with the two of them having a blast.

Kelli Giddish reflects on her time on Law & Order: SVU

Giddish ended her series-regular run as Detective Amanda Rollins on SVU in 2022, although she still pops up in episodes occasionally — including a few in Season 25 and Season 26.

In a 2022 interview with Variety, the 44-year-old revealed that after playing her iconic role for so many years, her decision to leave the show was simply about timing.

“I started playing her in my late 20s, so I’ve played her in three decades of my life, which is nuts,” Giddish explained. “It’s insane. This is a show unlike any other. Shows don’t last 12 years, much less getting to play a character. With playing someone as multifaceted as Rollins, I got to play all kinds of different things — down and out, on top, joyful, doubtful, scared, triumphant. I got to do the gambit.”
