9-1-1: Lone Star Season 5 Shocker: Who’s Resigning From the 126?
The 126 will be down another key member when 9-1-1: Lone Star returns for its fifth season on Monday, Sept. 23 (Fox, 8/7c). (See all of Fox’s freshly announced fall premiere dates here.)
As revealed in the official logline for Season 5, Judd (Jim Parrack) will be “resigning from the 126 to take care of his recently handicapped son Wyatt,” which forces Owen (Rob Lowe) to find a new lieutenant to take Judd’s place. The situation is further complicated when both Marjan (Natacha Karam) and Paul (Brian Michael Smith) apply for the position, leading to a “difficult decision” on Owen’s part.
Meanwhile, Tommy (Gina Torres) believes she’s ready to move forward in her relationship with Pastor Trevor, “but she finds the road to happiness is filled with obstacles.”
And what would a new season of 9-1-1: Lone Star be without some fresh #Tarlos drama? Following T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein) and Carlos’ (Rafael Silva) unforgettable wedding, the husbands’ marriage is “put to the test when Carlos becomes obsessed with solving his father’s murder.” And if that wasn’t enough to make you sweat, T.K. is visited by “someone from his past that could change his and Carlos’ lives forever.”
As previously reported, Sierra McClain is not returning to the show as Judd’s wife Grace, but nothing in the logline reveals how the character’s absence will be explained on screen.
Rumors have also been swirling that Season 5 could be Lone Star‘s last, and vague social media posts from the show’s cast have done nothing to ease fans’ concerns. As of now, however, nothing about the show’s future — or lack thereof — has been confirmed by Fox.
