“I’m gonna make her suffer.”
Power Book IV: Force has released a new teaser for its upcoming episode, seeing Tommy Egan in revenge mode.
Titled ‘Here There Be Monsters’, the episode sees Tommy close to avenging the death of his former nemesis turned associate Liliana, closing in on her killer Claudia Flynn.
As fans will remember, Liliana (Audrey Esparza) met her end during season one, after being shot by Claudia after a war erupted between Tommy and the Flynn family. “You’re gonna kill my sister,” Vic Flynn questions Tommy in one dramatic scene.
“I’m gonna make her suffer,” Tommy replies ominously.
Elsewhere in the trailer, we see Tommy working with Diamond (Isaac Keys) to expand their territory, while Vic continues his work with the Feds to take down Tommy.
Tommy is also equally suspicious of Vic’s motives and any offer of help from his rival.
“Every time I try working with a Flynn, I end up dodging bullets,” he says in another clip.
Meanwhile, Power Book director Lisa Demaine recently warned fans that “nobody” is safe for the rest of season two, after a string of major deaths in the most recent episode.
“There’s a lot of story from now to the end,” she said in an interview with Variety.
Speaking about the impact of the deaths, which included the demise of antagonist Walter Flynn, she added: “I can tell you that [episode 9] is also epic and big and sweeping.
“The Stacy Marks task force is growing, and her reach is reaching out and seeping in. People die. The drug-dealing world is dangerous and dirty, and 209 is big in a different way.”
