In celebration of the holidays, and as our beloved cast is underway with filming the upcoming season, we wanted to share a few pics from a recent table read. Happy holidays!
While it’s been a thrill to wind down 2024 with a few fun looks back at the incredible third season of Bridgerton, we couldn’t end the year without a look forward to what’s to come with Shondaland’s hit Netflix series.
So, perhaps as we pick out our best tiaras and brush up on the year’s gossip for any remaining holiday celebrations to round out 2024, let’s also ready ourselves for Bridgerton season four, whose production is well underway in London with the cast and crew working hard to bring us our favorite Netflix show as soon as possible.
Even as filming progresses, the cast, showrunner, directors, and producers have still been gathering for table reads to read through episodic scripts. For the uninitiated, it’s a relaxed setting where the actors can get a feel for their dynamic as a whole cast for the impending season. It’s almost like a mini homecoming when you have a series like Bridgerton where so many of the actors return year after year.
And we wanted to give you an insider peek to the whole affair with a few candid shots from a recent table read with our favorite season four cast members, including Luke Thompson and Yerin Ha, Golda Rosheuvel, and even a few new faces.
Our season four leads, Ha and Thompson, continue to beguile and intrigue as Sophie Baek and Benedict Bridgerton, respectively. And we cannot wait to see how their love story unfolds.

The newest mother-daughter duo to hit the ton: Katie Leung (yes, of Harry Potter fame!) plays Lady Araminta Gun, Sophie’s stepmother, and Isabella Wei (right) portrays Posy Li, one of Sophie’s stepsisters.
And, lastly, some familiar faces we’re thrilled to see back for season four, along with Ha and Andoh: (L-R) Polly Walker as Lady Featherington, Victor Alli as Lord Sterling, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, and (yay!) Hugh Sachs as Brimsby.
