Doctor Who unveils new look at Ncuti Gatwa’s Doctor
Damn he suits red leather.
Doctor Who has shared a new promotional shot of Ncuti Gatwa in costume as the 15th Doctor.
With his reign as the next Time Lord just around the corner, fans have been given a sneak peek of another vintage outfit he’ll be donning on screen.
Pointing a silver-ringed finger, this next incarnation of the Doctor is seen rocking a red leather trench coat with an open striped shirt and chain.

Earlier this month, the actor himself spoke to Rolling Stone UK about the ever-changing wardrobe of his character.
“I love Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor’s, outfits. Lovely velvet jackets and frilly shirts,” he said, before joking: “I feel a connection to him, our Doctors are the only two who dress like sluts.
“The day Russell [T Davies, showrunner] invited me to meet everybody, they asked me what sort of costume I wanted. I showed them this Ralph Lauren collection that was in partnership with Historically Black Colleges in America. I love those pieces, they’re so preppy and so Black.”
Gatwa, who also has a role in Barbie and the fourth and final season of Sex Education, went on to elaborate: “But then they asked what else, because they’d been thinking about lots of outfits, almost a different one each week. Which is new!
“I love it. The Doctor has travelled all of time and space; they’re going to have a sick wardrobe.”
Davies confirmed just the other day (July 14) that production on series 14, the first to star Gatwa, has already wrapped filming.
“That’s a wrap,” he posted on Instagram, alongside a photo of himself and lots of crew in front of the TARDIS
