FBI’s Jeremy Sisto Would Honestly Prefer Jubal to Work Abroad Forever, Here’s Why

Let the man showcase his hidden talents!

There are many reasons why audiences love Dick Wolf’s TV shows. They’re exciting to watch, they’re not afraid to draw inspiration from real life, they tend to run long, and they have a tendency to become franchises. Between NBC’s Law & Order and One Chicago universes to CBS’ FBI, fans always have some kind of update to keep them from boredom.

The biggest treat of all, of course, are the crossovers. While these episodes are the hardest to orchestrate and quite rare, they serve as a perfect reminder that all the characters coexist within the same fictional universe. It’s fun to see them work together on bigger and more challenging cases, and it’s fun to explore each new dynamic.

FBI is no exception. If anything, the voices of fans yearning for more crossovers can be easily supported by the cast. Jeremy Sisto, who portrays Jubal Valentine, will be the first to join the FBI: International team.

Is Jubal Valentine Moving to FBI: International?

No matter how much effort goes into producing TV crossovers, in most cases they are worth every penny spent. Not just for the viewers, who get the best of both worlds, but for everyone involved. The bosses behind the production get to hype up the whole franchise with epic promo, and the actors get to showcase their characters in a different environment.

For FBI’s Jeremy Sisto, the international crossovers have become one of his favorite parts of the show. Not only because they’re fun, but because they allow his character, Assistant Special Agent Jubal Valentine, to shine brighter than ever before. He mentioned this in an interview with TV Insider:

“They’re using [Jubal] much more throughout their episodes, which I think is great. <…> When I first signed on, I really liked the idea of this guy who just knows people everywhere and knows their wives and husbands and kids’ names. He’s one of those guys. And so yeah, it’s nice to be utilized like that on the other shows,” the actor said.

For many viewers, Jubal remains one of the most beloved characters in an entire franchise, so as long as he stays on screen and is used to his full potential, viewers would be happy. However, the overseas crossovers between FBI and its spin-off, FBI: International, aren’t easy to set up, they definitely work well.

If you are interested in seeing where the story takes Jubal (on both the main show and the spinoff), be sure to tune in every Tuesday on CBS. And if you need to refresh your memories of previous seasons, both shows are available to stream on Paramount Plus.
