Good Omens season 3 will have a “perfect ending” for Crowley, says David Tennant
David Tennant won’t tell us how Crowley’s story ends in Good Omens, but he promises that it will be “perfect.”
Do demons get happy endings? Good question, and we’ll learn the answer soon. The television series Good Omens is entering its final season, where we’ll learn the final fate of Crowley. The Amazon Prime series focuses on the relationship between the demon Crowley, who is played by David Tennant, and an angel named Aziraphale (played by Michael Sheen). It’s hard to believe we’ve all grown so attached to a demon, but when a character is played by David Tennant, they instantly become an audience favorite.
During a spotlight panel at Florida Supercon 2024, Popverse’s Veronica Valencia asked Tennant what kind of ending he would like for Crowley. “Well, I know how it is. Do you want me to make up a different ending? Speculate on what might be,” Tennant playfully answered.
Tennant was tightlipped on any spoilers, but he did give the audience an interesting tease.
“I know where it’s going, and I defy anyone not to think that it’s the perfect ending. I’m not giving very much away with that. I’m not saying whether that’s good, bad, or indifferent, but it’s definitely perfect.”
What’s a perfect ending for a demon? I suppose we’ll get our answer soon. The final season of Good Omens will begin filming in January 2025.
