House of the Dragon Fans Think They Know Who’ll Play Blood And Cheese in S2
House of the Dragon seems to have found the actors for the roles of the series’ most brutal killers.
With the filming of House of the Dragon season 2 in full swing, most fans are waiting to see how one of the most shocking scenes from George R. R. Martin’s books, whose presence in the series has already been confirmed by the creators, will turn out.
It’s a Blood and Cheese scene that promises to be even more brutal and bloody than the Red Wedding from Game of Thrones.
There has been a lot of speculation about who will play the brutal killers, and now it seems that the mystery has finally been solved.
Recently, a video was leaked showing actor Samuel Edward-Cook, who has appeared in projects such as Peaky Blinders, auditioning for one of the House of the Dragon roles, codenamed Charlie C.
A test video was available for a while, but has since been removed. In it, we see Charlie C appearing as a servant in the castle, bringing another person there to “kidnap the prince.”
In the second scene, both are in the royal chambers, wondering if this is really the prince’s room. The second person tells Charlie, “I am the blade, you are the map,” confirming his role as an expert on the secret passages of the castle.
Considering that in the books Cheese served as a ratcatcher in the Red Keep and was therefore familiar with it, fans drew the logical conclusion – Charlie C is Cheese.
However, judging by the fact that Samuel himself posted a video of the audition, he did not get the part. But the role of Charlie C went to another actor – Mark Stobbart. So at this point it’s almost certain that Stobbart will play Cheese in season 2 of House of the Dragon.
But what about Blood? In this case, fans have also figured out under what code name Blood is hiding behind.
Often, minor roles are hidden under fake names to keep the secrecy at the time of filming, and apparently the character named Boris is Blood, since the first letters of the names are the same, according to fans.
In addition, Boris was described as “large, tough and very tall. He’s a man who’s willing to do violence without question. The actor for Blood is also encouraged to have comedic chops.“
And apparently the House of the Dragon found the perfect actor for the role – Sam C. Wilson. The actor is 6.4 feet tall and has appeared in projects such as Dodger and Hanna.
