Is Vinny “2.0” Tortorella using Angelina Pivarnick to become famous?
That’s what Angelina said on the Thursday, Dec. 19, episode of MTV’s “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.” Angelina is perturbed that Vinny 2.0 got a verified check on his Instagram account without telling her.
“Did he tell you he applied for it?” asked Nicole “Snooki Polizzi. “That’s shady. That’s a red flag. It’s like are you using me to try and get famous? It’s not great.”
“You never want to believe that anyone in your life is using you,” Angelina said.
The problems with Angelina and Vinny 2.0 seem to go much deeper than verified checks.
“I am suffering in the love department,” said Angelina in an extended confessional from a Miami hotel, where the roomies have decamped. “I’m not trying to disparage him. I’m not trying to say he’s a bad guy, but when I first met Vinny 2.0 he said he wanted kids. He said he wanted marriage. He told me a lot of (blank) when I first met him.
“Two years later here I am, almost 40 — no kids. Everyone else has kids. I almost feel like I’m watching everyone move on with their lives and I’m still sitting here everyone passes me by.”
Angelina was previously married to Chris Larangeira from 2019 to 2022. Chris, like Vinny 2.0, often appeared on the show.
“(Vinny 2.0) will literally go to the gym at 5 in the morning and not get home until 12 30,” Angelina said. “He’s posting a lot of gym selfies, just sayin’. I think Vinny 2.0 would have dumped my ass by now if I wasn’t Angelina from ‘Jersey Shore.’ ”
The couple has had legal problems as well. Angelina called police in 2023 after an alleged altercation at their Freehold Township home. She declined to press charges against Vinny 2.0.
Angelina pleaded guilty on Oct. 1 to a disorderly conduct offense related to a June 2 domestic violence incident at her Freehold Township home.
Both incidents have not been mentioned on the show.

On Thursday’s episode, which was filmed in April, Angelina and Vinny 2.0 got into it in their hotel room after her confessional. Vinny 2.0, who proposed to Angelina on the show, brushed aside her marriage and children questions.
“How about we have a good (blanking) day first,” Vinny 2.0 said. “Let’s have a day, let’s start. It starts with me and you, Ang.”
Things escalated from there as the roomies listened from outside the hotel room door.

“For a long time I didn’t stick up for myself because you’re a beast,” Vinny 2.0 said.
The show’s confessional room at the hotel was empty at this point, so the pre-teen daughters of Nicole and Jenni “JWoww” Farley went in.
“Like our moms, we love gossip, too,” said Mini JWoww.
“We do?” said Mini Snooki.
The roomies, at the behest of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino visited Casa Casuarina in Miami, which was the former home of the late Gianni Versace. They wore Versace knockoffs for a dinner and tour.
