Power Ghost’s Cooper Saxe death ‘sealed’ in sneak peek as fans expose chilling clue
After finding himself in a web of secrets, Cooper Saxe could meet his demise in the upcoming episode of Power Book II: Ghost.
During Friday’s episode of Starz’s hit drama Power Book II: Ghost, major truths were unearthed.
Dru Tejada (played by Lovell Adams-Gray) gained the partial truth about his father’s murder, while Tariq St Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr) learned a RICO case was being built around him.
With the feds on his tail, Lauren Baldwin (Paige Hurd) broke confidentiality to tell Tariq, Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson) was playing both sides and planned to put him in prison.
As Saxe was also working with famous Defense Attorney Davis Maclean (Method Man) his connection to the feds was a major ethical violation.
However, Saxe may not feel the legal wrath of his actions as viewers spotted a major clue in the trailer for the upcoming episode.
The action-packed trailer promises an intense episode ahead as Tariq informs the Tejada family about the RICO case and the fallout of Diana Tejada’s (LaToya Tonodeo) arrest.
With things heating up, Davis and Tariq could be seen running to a potential scene of a crime as Davis demands: “Put the f*****g gun down.”
Although it’s yet to be seen who was holding the weapon and who they were pointing it at, fans took to the comments with anticipation.
@ajigijigi suggested: “I think Davis’ brother will kill Saxe and then kill himself in order to tie up the loose ends and ultimately that will also prevent anyone trying to look into Davis or try to interrogate him.
In response, @antawanknight7991agreed: “Right I can see that happening.”
@jaysteele6356 added: “Gonna miss Saxe comic relief….oh well it’s been a great run for him and now it’s time for him to reunite with Angela, Donovan, Greg and Sandoval.”
While @youaintnocopjreed2860 shared: “Saxe’s death was obvious in the finale of last season.”
During the latest episode, Saxe and Davis were able to get Davis’ brother Theo Rollins (Jordan Mahone) out of jail in time for him to enter a clinical trial for his illness.
They were able to prove wrongful arrest after Saxe’s close analysation revealed Theo had been sentenced for a murder Davis committed.
Although the brothers trusted Saxe would keep the truth a secret, Theo could kill the corrupt attorney to maintain Davis’ innocent image.
Saxe’s death was also teased in the official season three trailer as Theo could be seen putting a gun to his neck.
However, fans will have to tune in to see if this is how he will meet his demise.
