The Sopranos Hottest Character’s Fate Still Keeps Fans Up at Night

And we are not talking about Adriana…

There are only a few TV shows that you can rewatch every year and still find yourself thinking about it nights long. Every visual detail, every dialogue and the actions of all the main characters are new to you, and you watch the show like it’s your first time.

One of such shows is definitely The Sopranos. The mob drama that premiered in 1999 and lasted till 2007, spinning 6 seasons, is a legendary series worth watching at least once in a lifetime.

The Sopranos is an ensemble cast show that focuses on the family of New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano. Being the main protagonist and the main antagonist of the show as well, Tony is the character that is linked to everybody who ever appears on screen. The everyday personal and work-related shenanigans of his life are what fills the show’s each episode.

However, alongside the main storyline that is definitely Tony’s, there are also side plots that sometimes can be even more interesting. One of such was the one with Carmela, Tony’s wife, and Furio, another mobster from Tony’s team.

Furio was not like the others, he was more of a gentleman, and needless to mention the effect he had on women, even the mob boss’s wife couldn’t resist him. While the two of them never got close to each other sexually, they still established some sort of deep emotional relationship.

One of the most important and truly iconic moments of them together was of course “the dance scene.”

However, the fans of the show wanted more than just a dance for them to share, but unfortunately for both Carmela and the fans, Furio unexpectedly left the show for good.

Fans assumed that he decided to go to Naples to work because he started to feel that this platonic relationship wouldn’t survive another sexy dance scene and that sooner or later Tony would find out that he and his wife were close. And we all know how that would have ended…
