Coronation Street cast beam with pregnant Sair Khan as she glows with baby bump

Coronation Street actress Sair Khan was overjoyed as she reunited with her fellow co-stars.

The actress, who plays Alya Nazir in the ITV soap, confirmed her pregnancy last December and is well on her way to motherhood, with her due date approaching.

Actress Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays Dee Dee Bailey on the soap, shared a group snap of her and Sair alongside co-stars Jane Danson, Alison King, Tina O’Brien and Julia Goulding.

Sair is seen in the middle of the snap smiling while cradling her baby bump.

Last December, the I’m A Celebrity star announced that she is pregnant with her first child following a ‘difficult year’.

‘Hello,’ she began, addressing her 278k followers. ‘It’s been a little while since posting on here which has been a real mix of emotions.

‘With all that is happening in the world it didn’t feel like the right time to share but we also know it’s okay to keep hope and pray for peace whilst acknowledging that we feel blessed and grateful.’

She continued by giving a health update for boyfriend Nathan Chilton, who is currently undergoing treatment for a tumour, before revealing their lovely news.

‘Last year was a challenging time for us both with Nathan’s chondroblastoma surgery on his pelvis. It’s been a long road to recovery and still has many obstacles ahead as we deal with the spread of the tumour to his lungs.

‘Life can be difficult and there’ll always be challenges to face but there are also important lessons to be learnt and gifts to be cherished.

‘We’re so excited for the arrival of Baby Chilton in Spring 2024.’

Sair and Nathan began dating in 2020 after meeting through a mutual friend, and have remained ‘head over heels’ for each other ever since.

Their new bundle of joy is due to arrive this Spring.
