Fans are ready to shower someone else in love.
911 season 7 came as a nice surprise to the fans, as many feared that the show would be canceled after the current season.
As it turns out, it was a surprise not only for the viewers, but also for the production team. After the weak season 6 finale, which tried to wrap up all the storylines in 15 minutes, they were ready to say goodbye to the show.
Fortunately, the drama was saved by the move from FOX to ABC. As of now, it will be on hold until midseason due to the writers’ strike and will likely air with a shortened season 7.
However, fans are taking the news one step at a time, still happy to get another season at all.
There aren’t many things they’d like to see next, but there are a few things that seem to be very important. They want ABC to give Bobby more backstory, as he is the only character that lacks it so much.
To give Maddie and Chimney a nice, cool wedding they deserve. To give Eddie some development. And most importantly, to give Buck a break, which the guy desperately needs.
Evan Buckley has been a central character in the story for many seasons. However, it was in season 6 that his storyline became the only one the show really focused on.
Though fans weren’t completely against the idea at first, they’ve grown tired of it episode after episode and are now begging for a change.
Fortunately, 911 has no shortage of characters to take his place.
In fact, almost any one of them would make a great lead and would be supported by the fandom. One that stands out is Eddie Diaz, who seems to be the boring version of himself lately.
The audience really believes that it’s not too late to turn his character around and give him the re-introduction he deserves.
Whether or not this is the direction ABC is willing to take these characters, we’ll have to wait and see. Fans are also ready to meet new characters and, of course, look out for the new drama that will occur.
