Coronation Street Joel Deering’s k*ller finally unmasked as two suspects added to line-up

Coronation Street fans are set for a dramatic week of episodes as the final suspects in Joel Deering’s murder are revealed

Coronation Street fans are on tenterhooks as the revelation of who murdered Joel Deering is just days away, with two more Weatherfield locals joining the list of potential culprits.

A dramatic week of episodes will unveil the final suspects in the murder case of Joel (played by Calum Lill), climaxing with the killer’s identity being revealed next Friday (November 15).

As shown in the gripping new trailer, a sequence of electrifying flashbacks will build up to the most explosive drama yet, with viewers of the ITV soap witnessing a bloodied and beaten Joel fearing for his life on the railway tracks.

In addition, immediately following the action-packed episode on Friday, ITVX will host a live special at 9pm featuring exclusive live interviews with the cast and reactions to the unveiling of Joel’s murderer.

Sharon Marshall, writer, broadcaster and Queen of Soaps at This Morning, will present live from the cobbles. As next week begins, with Joel’s murder still unsolved, the police are feeling the heat to solve the case.

Joel’s aggrieved ex Dee-Dee Bailey (portrayed by Channique Sterling-Brown), her father Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) and Uncle Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) are all on the suspect list.

They are joined by bad boy Mason (Luca Toolan), DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) who was taken off the case after Joel’s involvement with her daughter Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) came to light, and the detective leading the investigation, DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts).

However, on Monday (November 11), in another revealing flashback, viewers once again witnessed Carla Connor (Alison King) exiting the factory on the night Joel vanished.

Initially, spectators suspected she might be concealing something, but as she shouts out to someone, it becomes apparent that it’s Max Turner (Paddy Bever) and Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) lurking outside in the pitch black, reports Plymouth Live.

What were they up to on the street on the evening of September 27, and could they be implicated in Joel’s murder? With Weatherfield’s crime wall photo now filled and all evidence presented to the viewers, the ‘true’ culprit’s identity is set to be unveiled in just a few days.
