5 Teen Wolf’s Most Underrated Characters Who Actually Made The Show

Pay attention next time you rewatch.

Of course, any TV show would be empty without supporting characters. Whether it is a best friend’s other best friend who pops up here and there with a sharp joke, or just a recurring nurse who quietly appears throughout the series, they play a huge part in the world-building process.

Sometimes, however, fandoms don’t pay nearly enough attention to even the most important characters. And the Teen Wolf fandom, which is mostly focused on the development of the original characters introduced in season 1, is guilty of this as well.

Here are the top five underrated Teen Wolf characters you may not even remember who deserve more recognition.

Paige Krasikeva

Although she was a huge part of Derek’s story, Paige almost always gets forgotten in fandom discussions. Though she only appeared in flashbacks in Visionary, her life and death played a major role in the events of the show, so she can’t be dismissed as easily as some fans do.

Corey Bryant

Corey’s loyalty to Mason deserves a lot more credit than it gets. Starting out as a rather shy and nervous guy, Corey overcomes a transformation into a Chimera and becomes much more confident than before. A relatable teenage transformation, the supernatural aspect aside!

Boyd

As unfortunate as it is, Boyd’s character got lost in other storylines and was completely wasted. He had a lot of potential as the Beta in Derek Hale’s new pack, rising to the top extremely quickly, but was kidnapped by the Alpha pack and killed in a fight. His ending always seemed very unfair.

Ken Yukimura

If there was a Teen Wolf Best Dad contest, Ken would have won. Throughout the show, he has nothing but love for his daughter and her friends and tries his best to protect them all. Considering how young the characters were, maybe that’s what they needed more of.

Cora Hale

When we talk about wasted potential, it would be crazy not to mention Cora. Being so badass, she deserved a lot more than being sent to South America. Plus, many fans are still baffled that the writers decided not to go through with it, despite all the chemistry Adelaide Cane had with Dylan O’Brien as Stiles.
