However, things might not go as predicted earlier due to the feud between Isabel and Monica.

On Sunday’s 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode, fans watched an excited Gabe prepare for his nuptials. The 90 Day Fiancé and his mother, who had flown in from Florida a few days earlier, made final preparations. During a confessional, Gabe expressed his happiness about finally marrying someone who loves him for who he is.
He also stated how it felt surreal that Isabel’s parents accepted him. Gabe then spoke of his appreciation of how everything panned out smoothly. However, it later appeared that he spoke a tad too soon, as the episode’s mood quickly turned.
Gabe learned his sister Monica would no longer attend the wedding due to a previous night’s spat. The news hit Gabe hard and forced him to halt his preparations for his wedding. Fans then watched him sink into a depressed state. Meanwhile, Isabel was already at the wedding venue, waiting for Gabe to arrive.
Despite the hurdles the coupled has scaled through, Monica’s disposition to the wedding seemed hurtful for Gabe. However, his decision to leave Isabel waiting at the altar spelled trouble in paradise for the couple. It had placed Gabe in a difficult position of choosing between Isabel and Monica. All these happened after Monica demanded Gabe sign a prenup before marrying Isabel. However, while Gabe might feel sorry for himself, the 90 Day Fiancé isn’t entirely blameless and might need to take a stand.
Gabe Instigated The Whole Feud

Most 90-Day Fiancé fans have fingered Gabe as the genesis of the ongoing rift between Monica and Isabel. Throughout the season, fans have watched as Gabe misrepresented Isabel or fed Monica the wrong information about his soon-to-be wife. Gabe’s constant desire to play the victim in every situation makes him spin the narrative to get that outcome.
Consequently, he has no qualms about painting Isabel as a villain to his family. He even went as far as telling his family that Isabel was manipulative. Interestingly, he repeats the same trick when he is with Isabel by telling her that his family is a manipulator. Unfortunately, his actions have backfired horribly — with his family, especially Monica, running with his misinformation and antagonizing Isabel.
This is part of why Monica demanded that Gabe get a prenup before getting married to Isabel. Although Gabe disagreed with his sister, his hero complex made him tell Isabel about the incident — which further drove a wedge between the two ladies. When Monica informed Gabe she wouldn’t be coming to his wedding, his first instinct was to call Isabel and tell her.
Thankfully, his mom salvaged the situation by calming him down. This showed Gabe’s apparent lack of emotional maturity, and it has been responsible in some part for how badly the relationship between Monica and Isabel has deteriorated. If things are ever going to improve between them, he must first take responsibility for his mistakes and then chart a new template for the two to follow.
Gabe Risks Losing Isabel If Feud Continues on 90 Day Fiancé
On her part, Isabel doesn’t really care for Monica and only seems to be tolerating her because of her love for Gabe. The Florida native never shielded her from Monica’s onslaught, and naturally, Isabel has developed some resentment for her soon-to-be sister-in-law. This has all the makings of a ticking time bomb, and fans are convinced that only Gabe can diffuse the situation, but he would have first to summon the courage to stand up to his sister.
From the beginning, Gabe’s family never supported his decision to relocate to Columbia to be with Isabel. They initially thought his relationship with Isabel was only a phase, but once he revealed his intentions to relocate permanently, the knives automatically came out. Monica was the most vocal critic of his relationship and had every reason to be concerned for her brother.
However, she has barely given the couple any breathing space and continues to exploit her significant influence over her brother to stir up trouble in his relationship. With how things are currently set up, fans feel it is only a matter of time before Gabe is forced to pick a side. Hopefully, it never gets to that, and the two can settle their differences and move forward.
