911 Introduced The Most Disturbing Possible Love Story Yet, And Fans Are Not Having it

Fans hope for the best but brace themselves to see the worst.

Even though Season 6 of 911 has been extremely Buck-focused, it’s been pretty tough on #Buddie shippers.

Not that fans of a headcanon couple aren’t used to living off the crumbs of family-like interactions between the two onscreen best friends, but this time it’s different.

The writers seem especially determined to give both Eddie and Buck love interests, and they approach the subject in the worst possible way.

Of course, the loyal shippers won’t be happy with anyone breaking up their couple. However, it seems that no one is siding with the 911 showrunners on this issue, whether they share the vision of these characters as a couple or not.

A lot of people are wondering how Eddie, a character who seemed to have the most potential of anyone from the beginning, ended up with so many boring and unoriginal storylines.

They hope that this will change in season 7 when the show switches networks.

With Buckley, however, the story is different. He went through a lot last season, making it almost impossible to think of another crazy storyline to throw into the mix.

His possible hookup with a married woman to whom he donated his sperm was perhaps the least expected but seems to be the most appealing to the writers. After all, they really want to shock the audience.

And they will succeed if 911 takes this turn. The audience will not only be shocked, but disgusted and forced to rethink the character and his moral values.

It doesn’t take a village to figure out what’s wrong with the idea of turning one of the fan-favorite characters into a homewrecker.

But it’s going to take a lot for viewers to forgive and forget the cringe-worthy scene where Buck brings her pickles and looks at her while she sleeps.

Of course, it could potentially be a story about stepping up, taking responsibility when needed, and becoming a parent to your child rather than pursuing a romantic interest.

However, after watching the show for the past 6 seasons, hopes for that are pretty low.

Tune in to FOX on Monday, May 15th to not miss the 911 Season 6 finale and see where the story goes.
