There were plenty of One Chicago cliffhangers that have fans eager to check in on the Chitown heroes. Med‘s Season 11 finale explored some fan favorites becoming parents, while other cherished characters saw their precious Gaffney jobs at risk. Chicago P.D.‘s Season 13 finale featured a blood-pumping criminal pursuit that has landed several Intelligence Unit officers at a crossroads. The explosive Season 14 finale of Chicago Fire set the tone for an epic milestone season as several beloved firefighters found themselves trapped in a grueling building fire.

How will it all come to a head? Only time will tell, but Chihard can’t wait to see. As the franchise celebrates a whopping 15 seasons of Chicago Fire, the flagship series that launched the Windy City franchise in 2012, it serves as a testament to the tight-knit cast and crew that have made Chicago Fire burn so bright for over a decade and counting.

“We’ve had a lot of antics and nonsense and [funny] things that we’ve done to each other — and done to me — that I can’t voice. But we have laughed hard,” Fire star David Eigenberg told NBC Insider in a November 2024 interview. “We laugh hard every day on this show,” Eigenberg said. “That’s why the crew has stayed. Everybody that could possibly stay, stays — because it’s a beautiful set.”
