Edie Falco Reveals Her Kids Have Never Seen The Sopranos: ‘They’re So Over It’ (Exclusive)

Edie Falco’s kids aren’t too impressed with one of her biggest shows.

While attending the Garden of Laughs at the Theater at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, the actress, 60, shared with PEOPLE that her two kids — son Anderson, 19, and daughter Macy, 16, both of whom she welcomed via adoption — weren’t interested in watching The Sopranos.

“They’re so over it,” the star, who starred as Carmela Soprano on the iconic show, told PEOPLE. “They’ve never seen it. Either of them. But I hope that maybe someday they will and maybe they’ll like it. But yeah, they’re not impressed at all.”

Instead, Falco admitted her kids are more impressed with the perks of having a famous mom.

“Not my work. But the things that I have that are available to them as a result of being my kids, they’re alright with that oddly enough,” she shared.

Wednesday’s Garden of Laughs comedy show raised more than $2 million for the Garden of Dreams foundation marking it as the biggest fundraiser in organization’s history.

Earlier this week, the mom of two lamented the loss of the “little kid” years of parenting while on an episode of MeSsy, her Sopranos costar Jamie-Lynn Sigler’s podcast.

“Nobody talks about when those little kids disappear – it’s like a death,” said Falco.

She continued, saying that she treasures memories of those early days. “Early parenting stuff is madness but it’s some of the most divine, precious hours of my life,” the Nurse Jackie star said on the podcast.

“When they both fall asleep on you when you’re watching TV and it’s quiet and you realize, ‘Oh my God I didn’t know I could feel this love.’ And then they’re just gone forever and ever, and they’re just memories and are all over your iPhone!”
