Frasier Reboot BTS Image Teases Returning Star’s Season 2 Appearance

Fans will soon see Frasier Crane reunite with his mischievous agent in Season 2 of the Frasier reboot. A new behind-the-scenes visual sees Bebe Glazer in action as the revival teases the OG character’s appearance.

Per Instagram Stories, a friend of Frasier reboot star, Jess Salgueiro, posted a set video from a Season 2 taping at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. A still from the video sees Harriet Sansom Harris’ Bebe alongside Anders Keith’s David Crane during the final cast call, though it’s uncertain which episode Harris was shooting.

The upcoming season of the Frasier reboot recently cast Harris, one of several original series stars appearing in Season 2. During the original Frasier, Bebe was a controversial character who acted as the eponymous radio psychiatrist’s agent throughout its 11-year run. Bebe had a penchant for being manipulative and doing anything to ensure the best possible deals for her clients. Also known for portraying Felicia Tilman in Desperate Housewives, Harris’ time on Frasier has been fondly remembered by fans, despite only featuring in 11 episodes.

Harris is one of several original cast members to feature in Season 2 of the revival series. Dan Butler and Edward Hibbert return to reprise their roles as KACL sports hosts, Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe and Gil Chesterton. Meanwhile, Peri Gilpin, who returned as Roz Doyle in the Season 1 finale, will be a recurring character in Season 2 following her guest appearance.

Season 2 production of the Frasier reboot has been ongoing since May, three months after Paramount renewed the series. The cast features several new faces, including Patrica Heaton as Frasier’s love interest, Yvette Nicole Brown as Monica Finch (the sister of Toks Olagundoye’s Olivia Finch), Amy Sedaris (Dr. “Doc” Stathos) and Grammer’s daughter, Greer Grammer as Roz’s daughter Alice. Season 2 also sees the return of Salgueiro, Keith, Olagundoye, Nicholas Lyndhurst and Jack Cutmore-Scott from Season 1.

Other Frasier Stars Are Teased to Return

Grammer hasn’t ruled out the return of more Frasier OGs for the reboot, leaving the door open for a potential cameo from David Hyde Pierce, who played Niles Crane in the original series. Grammer also suggested there could be a place for Succession star, Brian Cox, in the revival series. Cox played the liquor-loving Harry Moon in the original Frasier.

No release window has been confirmed for Season 2 of the Frasier reboot, though fans can stream Season 1 via Paramount+.
