“Grey’s Anatomy” Besties Camilla Luddington and Jessica Capshaw Get ‘Messy’ and ‘Unfiltered’ in New Podcast (Exclusive)
‘We Ride at Dawn(ish)’ will debut on June 18, with episodes releasing every Thursday
Camilla Luddington and Jessica Capshaw are back with a new podcast!
PEOPLE can exclusively announce that the costars-turned-best friends will launch their new podcast, We Ride at Dawn(ish), on June 18.
“I’ve been waiting a very long time to say this. Are you ready for it?” Capshaw says at the beginning of the trailer. “We’re back!”

Luddington teases that We Ride at Dawn(ish) is for the “unfiltered conversations” about “friendship, resilience and showing up, even when the ride gets a little messy.” “It’s about weathering the storms, staying in the saddle and knowing that you’ll have someone beside you when the sun comes up,” Capshaw adds.
Essentially, their podcast is about “two best friends who met on set and never stopped talking,” Luddington notes.
We Ride at Dawn(ish) is distributed by Dear Media, the largest podcast network for women.

Episodes of We Ride at Dawn(ish) will be released every Thursday, wherever podcasts are available.
This isn’t their first rodeo, as Capshaw and Luddington previously hosted their Call It What It Is podcast, where they interacted with listeners who reached out to them for advice. The podcast was launched in June 2024 through iHeartRadio.
The pair met when Luddington joined the cast of Grey’s Anatomy in 2012 as Dr. Jo Wilson, where Capshaw starred as Dr. Arizona Robbins. And while the two became best friends, they had a rocky start.
In a December 2024 episode of Sophia Bush’s Work in Progress podcast, Luddington revealed that Capshaw did not like her when they first met, and things remained “icy” between the two during her first season on the ABC medical drama.
Everything changed, however, when they were the only ones who showed up to a planned cast dinner. “We were forced to reconcile,” Luddington said. “But then we just loved each other.”
