Sylvie’s Threat In Chicago Fire Season 11 Is Good News For Casey’s Return
Sylvie Brett’s stern threat against Chief Boden in Chicago Fire season 11 is actually good development for Matt Casey’s possible return.
Chicago Fire season 11’s conflict between Sylvie Brett and Chief Boden is actually good for those hoping for a Matt Casey return. After an unusual month-long hiatus, One Chicago finally returns with new episodes. For Chicago Fire season 11, episode 19, “Take A Shot At The King,” Firehouse 51 deals with various personal and professional issues. For Sylvie, that means finding her footing back after Casey’s unexpected Chicago visit while also staging a magic show for her current boyfriend, Dylan. Beyond that, however, she will find herself being at odds with her very own boss.
Aside from her paramedicine program, the focus of Brett’s story in Chicago Fire season 11 has been on her personal life. Following her unexpected and one-way breakup with Casey, she struggled to put herself back into the dating world. Opening up for a possible new romance wasn’t easy, but she eventually started Dylan. Things seemed to be going well for them, until Casey’s surprise Firehouse 51 return in Chicago Fire season 11, episode 18, “Danger All Around.” As she deals with her romantic relationships, however, Brett will be embroiled in office conflict that may actually help her resolve her personal woes.
Sylvie Leaving Firehouse 51 Means She Can Get Back Together With Matt
In the new trailer for Chicago Fire season 11, episode 20, “Never, Ever Make A Mistake,” Sylvie and Violet Mikami find themselves in a difficult position when they learn that the previous shift didn’t properly restock their medicine bag. It’s unclear if there’s any other issue besides this, but it’s clear that Sylvie is really mad about it. When Chief Boden refuses to make waves about it, Sylvie threatens to quit Firehouse 51. This is generally bad news, but it could be how she and Casey get back together.
Brett and Casey were dating when he decided to move across the country. They tried to make a long-distance set-up work, but they ultimately broke up at the start of season 11. Despite this, however, One Chicago seems to be hesitant to definitively end their romance. When Casey returned in Chicago Fire season 11, it became all clearer that they are still in love with each other. Had it not been for their living arrangements, there is no doubt that they would be together. So if Brett follows through with her threat and ends up leaving Firehouse 51, then she could easily relocate to Oregon and be with Casey.
Chicago Fire Season 11 Finale Could Fix Brettsey
The last time that they were together in Chicago Fire season 11, both Casey and Brett didn’t make any explicit attempts to get back together. Although it was clear that Casey was interested in reconciling, Brett saying that she is seeing someone new effectively dissuaded him from pursuing her. That being said, NBC has another chance to finally fix their relationship in the upcoming Chicago Fire season 11 finale, where Casey is confirmed to once again re-appear. If Brett fully cut ties with Chicago, then there’s nothing that’s standing in the way of reuniting with her old flame.
