s the action continues to heat up on NBC’s One Chicago Wednesdays, Chihards will have to press pause on the high-octane thrills this week.
Season 11 of Chicago Med, Season 14 of Chicago Fire, and Season 13 of Chicago P.D. have been in no shortage of twists and turns as the Windy City heroes go above and beyond to save the day. Amid all of the medical mysteries and valiant rescues, Chihards have enjoyed some juicy One Chicago crossover moments. From romantic love triangles across shows to the explosive three-part crossover event, viewers have been on the edge of their seats.
“We really like when we can have characters have storylines across the shows…” Chicago Fire producer Reza Tabrizi told NBC Insider. “The [One Chicago] writers’ rooms are close to each other, and there are conversations going on all the time. As far as what’s happening with the characters and how we can engage the characters from other shows in each show. That’s been ongoing since the beginning.”

Are there new episodes of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. this week? (Wed. March 25)
Sadly, no. While the One Chicago Wednesdays action will continue, Chihards can anticipate encores of the second episodes from Chicago Fire Season 14, Chicago Med Season 11, and Chicago P.D. Season 14 on Wednesday, March 25.
Chicago Med will kick off the night with Season 11’s “A Game of Inches,” with a logline teasing: “Things get personal when Ripley and Archer butt heads over the treatment plans tied to an unusual case. Asher makes a surprising discovery with an expectant couple. A patient throws the hospital into chaos.“
Next, Chicago Fire will air a repeat episode of Season 14’s “Primary Search” which promises: “Vasquez strives to prove his worth at 51, while Violet and Novak investigate a disturbing case. Meanwhile, Herrmann works to maintain Molly’s success.”
As usual, Chicago P.D. will close out One Chicago Wednesday with an encore presentation of Season 13’s “Open Wounds.” The logline reads: “The Intelligence Unit is in a race against time when a man from Torres’ neighborhood is violently abducted.”
When will new One Chicago episodes return on NBC?
The Windy City heroes will return with new episodes on Wednesday, April 1, on NBC. They’ll be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
Next week’s episode of Chicago Med — Season 11, Episode 16 (“The Book of Charles”) — promises: “Dr. Charles grapples with his own mental health following a harrowing experience working the suicide prevention line.
Next week’s episode of Chicago Fire — Season 14, Episode 16 (“Firehouse 66”) — teases: “Severide is forced to overcome obstacles at the firehouse; Cruz finds himself at a loss amid the new changes in his family.”
Lastly, the logline for next week’s episode of Chicago P.D. — Season 13, Episode 16 (“Restored”) — reads: “Torres tries to stop the cycle of violence after a teenager is killed in an act of revenge.”
