Wednesday has become a viral series, causing worldwide trends and lots of parodies in the Internet by the release of the first season of the Addams family daughter’s adventures at the end of 2022.
Since production of the next season was looking to start next month, in April 2024, there are tons of speculations in social media, regarding the possible changes of the cast, plot and the atmosphere of Season 2, the main source for which is teases from Jenna Ortega, who is playing the titular heroine of the show.
Recently, the actress gave an interview to Vanity Fair that caused a lot of buzz due to the solid number of hints on the next season of the hyped show. The most discussed update, given by Ortega, is that Season 2 will feature more viral-worthy scenes and allusions to other pop-cultural entities, as the series’ scale gets bigger.

One of the latest funny remarks compares Wednesday dance and the one of the Oscar-winning Emma Stone’s character from the 2023 movie. “Poor Things owes her a check…,” jokes user @normalizenatalie in the YouTube comments.
Thus, as the time passes, the excitement keeps growing while looking forward to what Wednesday season 2 will present us.
