Coronation Street star Luana Santos has confirmed her exit from the ITV soap, and her final scenes have already aired.
Luana first appeared as Sabrina Adetiba in June 2023, who quickly began a relationship with Max Turner (Paddy Bever).
Earlier this year, she was targeted by Joel Deering (Calum Lill), who had been grooming and abusing young women.
Thankfully, Sabrina’s friend Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) grew suspicious of Joel’s motives, and managed to steer him away from Sabrina.
In Monday night’s episode, Sabrina paid Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) a visit in hospital, where she wished her the best for her relationship with Max.
As Sabrina insisted that Lauren deserved to be happy after everything Joel had put her through, Lauren pointed out that she had very nearly suffered the same fate.
Luana took to her Instagram Stories to announce that these scenes would be her final appearance in the Manchester-based soap, alongside a throwback picture to her very first episode.
‘Throwback to day one of filming in commemoration for my final episode today,’ she wrote.
Earlier this year, Luana revealed that she was leaving Corrie to start drama school.
‘Last day with Corrie… thanks for everything. Drama school here I come,’ she penned, alongside a picture with co-star Jack Carroll, who plays Bobby Crawford.
