The Witcher Composer Back for Season 4 and 5

Netflix’s The Witcher is in the second half of filming its very last season and while we still don’t know when Season 4 will air, we continuously learn new things about the two final seasons. For example, key crew members who will be back for one last time.
Composer Joseph Trapanese back for The Witcher S4 & S5

It’s no big surprise, but we can confirm Joseph Trapanese is back once again for both of The Witcher‘s final seasons. He joined back in Season 2 and for Season 3 he had help from the acclaimed Polish band Percival, who also worked on the CD Projekt RED’s games. At the moment, we don’t know whether Percival are back or not.
Next up is costume designer Lucinda Wright. She also joined in Season 2 and already has spoken about meeting Liam Hemsworth and fitting him. While we can’t hear any of Trapanese’s new music, we can certainly have a look at Wright’s work on Hemsworth’s Geralt as well as Freya Allan’s Ciri from Season 4 and Season 5 photos:

Lucinda Wright said about Liam previously: “I’ve met Liam briefly and he is six foot four and another beautiful specimen for a costume designer to showcase, so I’m very lucky. It’s very exciting as well because he’s going to bring something special.“
Back for both final seasons is also production designer Andrew Laws, who brings the showrunner’s vision to life in the show in how sets are dressed, look and feel.
As July has passed, it’s officially been two years since the last episodes of Season 3 aired, so perhaps Netflix will release some news soon.
The Witcher Season 4 is in post-production for a 2025 release. Andrzej Sapkowski’s new Witcher book Crossroads of Ravens is available in Poland and will be released internationally in September 2025. CD Projekt Red’s The Witcher 4 is now in full production.
