Benson takes a job from Clark Kent in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6 (Exclusive)
FBI Agent Clay, affectionately known as Clark Kent, comes to Benson with another case. Watch how long it takes for her to take it in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6.
When two campers are attacked, FBI Agent Clay turns to Benson for help. Take a look at their interaction in this sneak peek for Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6. It doesn’t take long for Benson to say yes.
Clay (Josh Cooke) is given the affectionate name of Clark Kent, and it’s easy to see why. With those glasses and dark hair, he does give a bit of a Clark Kent vibe. There’s also an element of Superman to him considering how much he wants to help people.
Benson (Mariska Hargitay) points out that Clay being there with coffee at 7:30 a.m. means he needs something. He’s buttering her up, and it’s soon clear why he needs her on the case.
Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6 brings up the need for consent
The sneak peek for Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6, titled “Rorschach,” gives us a look at the case. We learn that a couple were attacked while camping. I love that Clay doesn’t pass any judgment on what the two campers were doing. He points out that they were trying to be travel influencers, and that’s it. Even Benson makes no comment to that.
You see, it’s because why they were there doesn’t really matter. At least, as long as they weren’t on the run from something.
It’s the attack that happened. While the boyfriend was stabbed twice, the girlfriend was beaten, half naked, and left for dead. With potential sexual assault in the mix, Clay needs Benson on the case. The issue is there hasn’t been a rape test.
Benson is quick to point out that it’s been 24 hours, so that means something more serious is going on. Consent is needed, and yes, this is so important. So is getting DNA to catch the guy, so it’s a difficult situation for law enforcement to be in.
Now a slight problem is the load of cases already on Benson’s desk, but there’s no way she can say no to this, especially when Clay points out that nobody is as good as her at solving these types of cases.
Take a look at the sneak peek for Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 6 above and get ready for the all-new episode. It’s going to be a difficult one for SVU.
