Coronation Street confirms dark exit story for major star as she’s pushed out
Beth Tinker (Lisa George) finds herself backed into a corner as a result of Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and his manipulation in Coronation Street next week.
A few weeks ago, a darker side to Kit was shown when he confronted a man called Sid, who had been working with Beth to sell knock-off t-shirts from the factory.
Kit had spotted Sid and Beth sorting their deal out on the street. That evening, he met with Sid and told him to throw Beth off the team and welcome him on board instead.
To further increase the risk, Kit said he would report Sid and Beth to the police if he didn’t get what he wanted.
Next week, Beth is fuming to discover Sid has been selling their knock-off t-shirts in the precinct and keeping the profits all for himself. As Beth watches, she’s taken aback when Kit arrives.
In the aftermath of this discovery, Kit hands Beth some cash and says he wants her out of Weatherfield by the end of the week, or he’ll end Craig’s (Colson Smith) career.
Later though, Kirk (Andy Whyment) admits to Beth that he cannot live without her, and reveals Peanut the dog wearing a neckerchief that says ‘Marry me?’.
As Kit’s blackmail rings in Beth’s ears, Craig quizzes Sid about his dealing with her. Sid feigns ignorance but once Craig is out of earshot, he calls Kit to warn him.
So, what does this mean for Beth?
Will Kit’s blackmail and manipulation force her to leave Coronation Street for good?
