Filming for the fourth season of Netflix’s The Witcher continues in its second month. We already saw the first look of Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia as well as a glimpse of Anya Chalotra’s Yennefer. Now the time has come for Freya Allan’s Ciri as well as her companions, The Rats.
Ciri rocking a new outfit in The Witcher Season 4
In this new photo, we can see Freya Allan filming for The Witcher Season 4 and we can see her new outfit quite clearly. In the following photos, we can also see The Rats. But first, something about the Ciri scene.
We can also see a young woman in front of Ciri, dressed in noble clothes. Given the Rats are also present, we can assume that The Witcher is adapting that one scene from the books where The Rats ambush a baron’s carriage in Nilfgaard.
In the carriage, there was baron’s daughter and Ciri steals her brooch. We are told that in the show, Ciri either slaps her or slashes her throat. By the looks of it, it seems like it’s the latter as in one of the shots below, we can see Ciri holding her dagger and the girl in a position that looks like she’s dying.
In the books, the baron of Casadei is one of two people who hires Leo Bonhart to go after Ciri. But there Ciri never killed the girl. We’ll see how that transpires in the series.
We can see the actress in front of Ciri, but we don’t recognize her just yet. If you know her, feel free to let us know!
Another set of shots from a day prior see The Rats themselves and a glipmse of Ciri. We can see all of them: Ben Radcliffe‘s Giselher, Christelle Elwin‘s Mistle, Aggy K. Adams‘ Iskra, Fabian McCallum‘s Kayleigh, Juliette Alexandra‘s Reef and Connor Crawford‘s Asse.
Ciri herself isn’t yet in her new clothes, but instead in her S3 outfit, so this is a scene from the beginning of the first episode, by the looks of it. The scene seems like the gang sharing loot of either coins or jewelry, but it’s hard to say.
