Law & Order: SVU & OC Season Finale Details: Benson & Stabler Team Up, Rollins Returns

Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime season finale details tease a crossover featuring a Benson and Stabler team up, as well as Rollins’ return.

Season finale details for both Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime highlight another Benson and Stabler team up, as well as the return of Rollins. One of the longest-running shows on television, SVU continues to track Mariska Hargitay’s character, now Captain of the New York City Police Department’s specialized division. While Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) left after 12 seasons, he currently leads Organized Crime and has been featured in several crossover events, in addition to Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish), who was last seen celebrating her marriage to Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and accepting a job offer at Fordham University.

Hargitay recently celebrated the wrap of Law & Order: SVU season 24, and as both shows near their finales, theories surrounding what might happen have been swirling. Now, TV Line has shared summaries of the upcoming crossovers, premiering May 18. SVU’s “All Pain is One Malady” reveals that Olivia Benson (Hargitay) and Stabler will work together again while Organized Crime’s “With Many Names” sees the two getting benched and teases the return of Rollins. Check out the synopses below:

“All Pain Is One Malady” – In the search for a revenge-for-hire crime ring, Benson and Stabler combine forces on a case that has now spread globally. Fin and Bruno help a rape victim assaulted a second time. Jet’s plan to hack the dark web backfires and puts the team in danger.

“With Many Names” – As OCCB and SVU close in on a callous and desperate suspect, the U.S. Attorney benches Stabler and Benson; Bell and Fin must lead the team on a perilous task; Rollins (SVU vet Kelli Giddish) confronts a witness who refuses to cooperate.

What The Finales Could Mean For Law & Order: SVU and OC

There have been a lot of crossovers between Law & Order: SVU and Organized Crime, and past episodes have further explored the relationship between Benson and Stabler, with the former expressing she was still upset that her partner left. Longtime fans of the franchise have enjoyed seeing the duo reunite on-screen and because it appears that story is ongoing, it is worth wondering what their future could look like. Though Benson and Stabler have shared intimate moments before, they have also worked alongside each other for a while, and big cases like the one teased in the SVU finale continue to build excitement.

When it comes to Rollins, who left Law & Order: SVU during season 24, it was revealed back in April that she would be returning. Though not much is known about her upcoming appearance, audiences can reportedly expect to see Giddish’s character pregnant. After her co-star Ice-T previously shared a photo of them on social media, it seems Rollins may play a large role in the Law & Order: Organized Crime crossover episode as well.

It will be interesting to see how each series wraps up their seasons, and what lies ahead for characters like Benson, Stabler, and Rollins. If the latest previews are any indication, the Law & Order franchise has much to look forward to. Those eager to find out what happens can be sure to tune into both Law & Order: SVU and Law & Order: Organized Crime.
