What This Means For SVU Season 27
There Will Be Some Shifts
The cast of Law & Order: SVU will look a little different, as Aimé Donna Kelly has been promoted to series regular. Our Take On SVU’s Future
It’s Looking Bright
As is often the case, the Law & Order: SVU season 26 ending doesn’t do a lot to shed light on where the procedural is going in the long run. But with Rollins back and a new showrunner that could potentially bring a somewhat different focus to the story, there’s a chance that the NBC series will go back to what viewers connected with in those years after Stabler’s departure.
Law & Order: SVU season 27 doesn’t have a premiere date at NBC, though it is expected back by October at the latest. The premiere will give a better sense of what’s next for Benson, Stabler, and others.
