Love is never straightforward in Coronation Street, and two local lads are set to find that out in upcoming scenes.
In recent scenes, Bobby Crawford (Jack Carroll) opened up to Max Turner (Paddy Bever) about his feelings for Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), admitting that he still liked her.
Before Lauren went missing earlier this year, she and Bobby had grown close, and even kissed.
However, after her disappearance, Lauren grew closer to Max, who was always there to support her and baby Frankie.
Max and Lauren also have history, with Lauren having been Max’s first love.
This week, things got awkward when Bobby later tried to join Lauren and Max in the Rovers to ask why they were being so shifty, but they made their excuses and left.
In upcoming scenes, Bobby will once again attempt to open up a conversation with the pair, demanding to know why they have been avoiding him.
When they both insist that they aren’t ghosting him, Bobby demands an explanation on what they’re hiding.
In a bid to extend an olive branch, Lauren later invites Bobby to spend some time with Frankie in the hospital.
However, in the baby unit, she is taken aback when Max confesses that he has feelings for her, and it doesn’t take long for her to admit that his feelings are reciprocated.
With both Max and Bobby pining for Lauren, is their friendship set to take a battering?
