Will justice beat power in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 2? (Preview)

Benson and Carisi have their work cut out for them in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 2. Here’s a look at what to expect in the new episode.

Things are not going to be easy for Benson and Carisi in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 2. This is a case of power vs. justice.

It’s going to take the entire team working together for justice to make it all work in the new episode. Of course, they are all on the side of justice, but it’s not always easy. And their jobs may end up on the line.

A federal judge is the perp in Law & Order: SVU season 26, episode 2

Benson realizes immediately that this is going to be hard work. A powerful federal judge is the perp in this case. On top of that, it’s not a recent case. A woman ends up with memories coming back when she finds an old notebook in her home. This opens up a decades-old case, and Benson is determined to get to the bottom of it.

So is the rest of the SVU team. The problem for them is they need to get around the judge. They need to have evidence that it was definitely him. A man in that position will have friends in the “right” places for him. This could put careers on the line.

We know that Silva is the daughter of the former deputy commissioner. Could she use her own connections there to help? She doesn’t want special treatment, but sometimes, you have to use what’s available to make sure you get justice.

This is going to be a problem for Carisi on a legal level, though. Due to the perp being a judge, he can block motions. They will all need to get creative.
