Law & Order: SVU‘s favorite crime-solving duo reunited over the weekend, and one flirty moment between them has the internet buzzing!
On Friday, tons of celebrities flocked to Carnegie Hall to celebrate the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay.
Mariska was just 3 years old when her mom, Hollywood actor and former Playboy Playmate Jayne Mansfield, died in a car accident in 1967. Mariska created this documentary as a way to discover more about the mother she barely knew.
“This movie is a labor of love and longing,” Mariska told Variety. “It’s a search for the mother I never knew, an integration of a part of myself I’d never owned, and a reclaiming of my mother’s story and my own truth. I’ve always believed there is strength in vulnerability, and the process of making this film has confirmed that belief like never before.”
The red carpet was packed with her friends and peers to support her feature film debut, including her family — her husband of over two decades, Peter Hermann (who she met on the SVU set), and their three children, August Miklos Friedrich Hermann, Andrew Nicolas Hermann, and Amaya Josephine Hermann…

Since the beginning of the series, fans have been shipping these two together, despite them both being happily married to other people.
