Kelli Giddish Shares First Adorable Pic of Her 3-Month-Old Newborn

The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum welcomed baby Oldie Richards in June.

Kelli Giddish is now a mama of three!

On September 14, the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alum shared the most heartwarming photo of herself, her husband, Beau Richards, and their newborn baby, Oldie, who was welcomed to the world this June. In the artsy, black-and-white photograph, the baby lies next to his parents while they look at him lovingly.

“My husband and I welcomed Oldie Richards on June 20th and we are so in love and so very grateful. Oldie- you’ve brought immeasurable JOY to me and your daddy and your two brothers (and your grandparents and aunts and uncles!). You wake up smiling and the light you bring to each moment is truly incredible,” Giddish gushed in the caption.

Congratulations, Kelli and Beau!

Giddish announced her pregnancy this May, posting a black-and-white snapshot of herself giving Richards a kiss on the cheek.

“Can’t wait to welcome our baby boy soon!” she captioned the post.

Coincidentally, Giddish’s SVU character, Amanda Rollins, is pregnant in Season 24 of the show. Rollins is expecting a baby with Carisi, which is also Rollins’ third child.

Kelli Giddish talks leaving Law & Order: Special Victims Unit

Giddish left SVU as a principal character at the end of 2022. “I started playing her in my late 20s, so I’ve played her in three decades of my life, which is nuts. It’s insane. This is a show unlike any other. Shows don’t last 12 years, much less getting to play a character. With playing someone as multi-faceted as Rollins, I got to play all kinds of different things — down and out, on top, joyful, doubtful, scared, triumphant. I got to do the gambit,” Giddish said in a 2022 interview with Variety.

She continued, “My side of things is just that it’s time in the Rollins storyline. I felt like where it was heading, and where it headed last night, just seemed the right place to leave it right now. I am so excited about things going on in my personal life and kind of the mirroring of what’s going on in my personal life and in Rollins’, there’s a lot of joy to be experienced.”
